Removable bollards

The Lockbloc 21 socket system is usable with all diameters of bollards.

The sockets provide total stability and are secure and tamper-proof thanks to the unique locking system.

Locks & unlocks with an 11mm triangle key screw, the bollard is lifted out in the upright position.

100% galvanised internal mechanism for complete corrosion protection.

The central boss is inverted and locked in place after removal of the bollard. Flush with the ground, galvanised with a lacquered finish.

Drains naturally through sub surface gravel.

A reservoir allows the accumulation sand, gravel, etc. and can be removed for easy maintenance.

The parts above ground level are lacquered in black.

Operation

With one turn of the key, the bollard rises and automatically locks into the raised position.

To retract the bollard: Turn the key and remove it, then apply vertical pressure to the dome of bollard with the foot, until it locks automatically in the lowered position.

The lock unit

The lock unit is made of stainless steel. The stainless steel lock protector is spring loaded and shields the mechanism from ingress of dirt. The standard lock supplied uses an 11 mm triangle key.

Ground-cover (skirt)

Removable for maintenance. Made of 60 mm cast iron, Ø 460 or Ø 340 according to models.

Non-slip with a raised paved effect and a slope calculated to allow water to run off. Coated black on primer coat. Fixed to the casing by 4 stainless steel Hex socket cap head screws: Ø 10. Screw heads protected by removable rubber caps.

The sliding mechanism

Supports the bollard and equipped with guide ball bearings, distortion resistant, hard wearing. The bollard is activated by a sealed gas piston and slides vertically in a removable drum inserted in the ground-fixed outer casing.

The casing

A fixed 3mm casing, made of galvanised sheet steel, with strong lifting eyelets for quick and easy installation.

Product impact resistance

Resistance to electrolytic reactions by using selected materials, excluding aluminium. High resistance to crushing (40 tonnes) in the down position, according to models and depending on the nature of ground fixing conditions. Although resistant, we do not recommend the positioning the retractable bollards in heavy traffic zones.

Retractable bollards

Anti-ram Bollards are devices aimed at deterring and stopping ram raiders. Particularly recommended for the protection of ATMs, banks, shopping centres, jewellers.

• Total height 1265 mm (Ø 219) or 1286mm (Ø 723).

• Height above ground 800mm.

• To be concreted directly into the ground.

Supplied hollow with a steel reinforcing core, the bollard is fitted with a lifting eyelet for easy installation. To be filled with concrete on site then the rounded top cap to be placed in position.

Galvanised finish or galvanised and painted in our RAL colours.
